The Xperia Z2 is available online and in stores as of May Day, Carphone Warehouse has made a bold claim that it alone will exclusively stock it early. The phone retailer says it will have the Xperia Z2 two weeks before anyone else. For those of you who can’t do maths that’s next week and they will only have a limited amount of stock.
Carphone Warehouse said it “will have limited stock available for pre-order and online customers”. The website page for preorders is up now and delivery is expected on the week commencing 14 April.
The Sony Xperia Z2 itself is a water resistant and dust resistant handset which packs a 5.2inch IPS LCD display, with 1080 x 1920 resolution for 424ppi. Tear out its insides and you’ll find the latest Snapdragon 801 processors running at 2.3GHZ, with a total 3GB or RAM to support it, although Carphone Warehouse currently lists it as running Snapdragon 800. Under the hood is the latest Snapdragon 801 processor running at 2.3GHz and backed by a hefty 3G of RAM.
The Xperia Z2 has fantastic 4K capable video and takes photos using its 20.7-megapixel camera. It’s powered by a 3200mAh battery, which is non-removable, and should give up 740 hours in stand-by. Carphone Warehouse prices start from £42 per month with the handset free.
The Sony Xperia Z2 will be available to the masses from May Day, to those of you lucky enough to preorder from Carphone Warehouse it will be available from the 14th of this month.
