Now this is cool – with the powerful camera of the HTC One X+, taking pictures is definitely something you can do well. If you’re looking to take perfectly stable shots, whether one off portraits or moody landscape time lapses (with Lapse It Pro!) then this is the ideal accessory. It’s a small, simple tripod with a unique HTC One X+ shaped holder at the top, allowing you to easily position and stabilise your One X+. You can even unscrew the holder portion and use it with any other tripod, making this an excellent photographic addition to the One X+.

2. Cover-Mate Desktop Cradle

This sleek looking cradle offers basically what you’d expect from any good smartphone dock – a convenient place to put your phone to keep it charged and synced with your PC. The cradle sports a landscape orientation, which I really like – while it’s not as useful for typing or viewing incoming notifications, it’s much better for doing things that use up the battery, like watching videos or listening to music. While it would have been nice to see an integrated speaker here, for the price it hits all the right notes.

One of the best ways to take advantage of the HTC One X+’s beautiful display is to watch a film upon it. If you’re on the train on the way to work, what better time to kick back and watch something? Unfortunately, it’s a bit irritating to have to hold the phone up to your face the whole time – much better to instead use a portable stand. While we could pick a dedicated stand here, I’m favouring this genuine HTC Hard Shell, which includes a horizontal kick stand that is ideal for watching films on. Just prop it up on your tray table and you can sit back and relax. A good protective option, too, without being too bulky. All in all, it’s a great HTC One X+ case and easily one of the most functional accessories you’ll find for the HTC One X+.
