Vodafone is about to go Windows Phone crazy here in the UK, with no fewer than five Windows Phone 8-toting smartphones set to go on sale before the end of the month. The Nokia Lumia 620, Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 will be joining alongside the Windows Phone 8X and 8S by HTC.
At present the network doesn’t offer any of the new Windows Phone 8 range, but does offer some of the first generation Windows Phone 7 models, including the HTC Trophy, Nokia Lumia 800 and HTC Radar.
Five of the biggest names in Windows Phone 8 will come to the network by the end of the month, with the Lumia 920 and Windows Phone 8X by HTC lined up to work with Vodafone’s 4G network, which is set to launch later in the year. Both phones already have the 4G tech in place and just require the network connection in order to make the most of the super-fast tech.
From the current crop of WP8 devices it seems that the Samsung Ativ S is missing, which is a shame – we love the phone for its awesome design and screen quality.
The Nokia Lumia 620, 820 and 920 along with the HTC 8X and 8S will all be available from Vodafone from February 6th.
