Things aren’t looking great for Skype, as today’s crash and subsequent lack of service raised some questions with new investor, Microsoft.
From bad to, um, well I guess, COOL, Vsee, a Skype competitor have just announced ‘One-Click Collaboration’ following a cash injection by a large corporate entity.
VSee has highlighted their new service is a ‘no install experience’ that starts a video chat session between users without messing around – a single click is apparently, all you need.
The small tech startup offers a video call streaming service that additionally carries support for multiparty calls, screen and application share and file transfer, kind of what Skype does.
VSee CEO, Milton Chen, said that ‘One-click Collaboration’ can be used in-browser like Flash, but with all the features and usefulness of Skype, and apparently does it better than both. VSee is soon to be available in July 2011 for Windows XP, Vista, 7.
