The Walking Dead from Telltale Games will be stumbling and growling onto next gen consoles this month when Season One and Two finally arrive for Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox One.
The Walking Dead game is story-based and set in the comic book universe as penned by Robert Kirkman and features new and familiar characters in the post-zombie-apocalyptical world. The series is now ten episodes down having nailed the coffin on its second season back in August and it ready to spread into the next gen as well as evolving on handheld.
The schedule for the upcoming undead releases will see The Walking Dead season one bundle reach PS4 and Xbox One on October the 14th and a week later on October 21st season two will be released in full. This means those who devoured the first five episodes will not have a long wait before the next morsel which comes complete with the ‘400 Days‘ bonus episode which bridged the break between the first and second seasons. Season two also infects PS Vita on November the 4th for handheld players.
A third bite of The Walking Dead is inevitable as the TV version prepares to embark on its fifth year and issue #132 of the comic book has just been released. With zombie fever still a-burning its believed new episodes of the game are already in development by Telltale Games who will also be travelling to Westeros for an episodic Game of Thrones based game.
