Watch Dogs Patch Released to Fix Corrupt Data

Watch Dogs allows players to bend technology to their will and for developer/publisher Ubisoft life imitates art as they quickly roll out a fix to remedy a number of issues which have plagued the game since launch.

The main issue the patch should resolve is corrupt save files that many players were encountering within the Watch Dogs game in the past few weeks and when the game would load saved progress and game data would become damaged or lost. This loading bug affected all main platforms including PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The console patch is now released with PC gamers receiving theirs shortly after.

As well as repairing corrupt saves the Watch Dogs patch will online gameplay problems and visual issues which were causing upset to the players of the PC version of the game. It will also remove glitches within some of the mini games.

With a massive scale game spanning multiple platforms some issues are to be expected and it seems Ubisoft is trying to stay on the ball with resolving it quickly. And the last thing the publisher will want to do is nark the gaming masses after recent questionable comments about female characters in the new Assassin’s Creed game.
