After months of rumours, leaked images and reports, LG has finally made the fabled white Nexus 4 official.
A new colour doesn’t warrant much fanfare of course, and so LG revealed the phone on May 28th to be launched the very next day. It comes to Hong Kong first, then to Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East in the coming weeks, says LG.
Everything about the white Nexus 4 is exactly the same as the original black model that has proved very popular due to its high specs, low price and latest software. However, this means that the recent rumour of Google introducing the Android 4.3 update at the same time as the Nexus 4 is untrue. The white Nexus 4 runs Android 4.2.2, just like the black version
When it does arrive on Google Play here in the UK the prices will be £239 for the 8GB model and £279 for the larger 16GB device. If you’re not familiar then this relatively little wedge of cash will secure you a phone that features a 4.7-inch IPS HD display, quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera and of course, the promise of Android updates as soon as Google releases them.
