After the news that Samsung has sold more than 5-million Galaxy S2’s in three months the Korean Company might be planning a white 16 gb version of the phone, according to online retailer Clove.

Clove’s announced on their blog that they have the phone listed with a price and a tentative release date of August 15th, but importantly there’s no picture.

The Clove blog said: “We can confirm that the massively popular Samsung Galaxy S II 16GB will be available from Clove in White from approximately the 15th August”.

“This model is exactly the same as the 16GB black model, the only difference being the colour.” they added.

Samsung has remained tight lipped about the possibility of a white Galaxy S2, and so far Clove has failed to show a picture of the handset, but with the popularity of the white iPhone it is certainly something we can see Sammy doing – especially as there was a white version of the original Galaxy S.

If true, the white Galaxy S II will land with the same 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities and 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display as its black sibling.

Samsung has high expectations for the Galaxy S2 – with the aim of getting the new handset in 120 countries by the end of the year. They released the phone in China this week and will look to conquer America next month.
