Hanging on desperately for the software update that’ll bring your Windows phone 7 hadnset into the juicy world of Mango? The wait is almost over. Microsoft has stated on its blog that Mango, otherwise known as Windows Phone 7.5, will be available within the next two weeks.
A more specific date hasn’t yet been provided, butMicrosoft says that it will be updating its ‘Where’s My Software Update’ page soon to show when the update will roll out in specific countries.
For those unsure, Mango is the first major software update for Windows Phone 7, which will bring a host of new features such as Twitter integration, unified messages and, perhaps most importantly in this smartphone generation, multitasking.
