Online retailer Play.com has put up their price for the new HTC Sensation, SIM-free for £499.
Play have had a history of leaking prices early, though sometimes they end up editing the price and/or the release date later on, like they did with the Samsung Galaxy S II.
They’ve also pinned the handset for a release date of June 30th, which is a good way off the 19th May release date on the Vodafone network. Of course, Vodafone customers will be the first to get their hands on the Sensation thanks to a month-long exclusivity deal secured by the UK network.
The Sensation is to become HTC’s new flagship Android handset when it gets released, with many expecting it to give the iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S II a run for their money. It packs a 4.3-inch Super LCD Display, 1.2GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon processor, 8-Megapixel camera and Android 2.3.3 with HTC Sense 3.0.
