Microsoft has confirmed that their forthcoming Internet Explorer 10 browser will not be backwards compatible with Vista.
Speaking to Computerworld, a Microsoft rep explained that they do not wish to develop the next browser for an older version of Operating System. The news comes as little suprise, as the recently released Internet Explorer 9 was released for only Vista and 7 users – Windows XP support was cut off.
We were treated to an early development sneak-peak at IE10 earlier this week; take a look at our article here to see a video demo of the platform.
