The latest news in this ongoing saga is that Sony has reportedly announced to developers that the PlayStation Store will be back online on the 24th May.
The information was obtained from Gamasutra in a form of a memo which was sent to one of Sony’s publishing partners. It mentioned Tuesday 24th, well, that’s assuming there won’t be any more unforeseen issues pushing back the date even further.
The re-launch of the PlayStation Store is also reported to be rolled out in stages over the following weeks, and will include the big back log of games and content that should have been released during the downtime.
