If you’ve been patiently waiting for the world’s first phone to both record and playback 3D video, you need not wait any longer as the LG Optimus 3D has now finally made its way to all Carphone Warehouse stores, with both contract and SIM-free options available to choose from.
You may remember us reporting that around 20 stores were selling the Optimus 3D since last Friday, although the much talked about Android handset has now made a full release nationwide, a little bit earlier than previously thought.
The LG Optimus 3D was announced at this year’s MWC event in February, and if you’re not that familiar with what it has to offer (apart from the 3D), you can expect to get a nippy Tegra 2 CPU with 8GB of internal memory, a large 4.3-inch screen and it will come with Android 2.2 (FroYo) pre-installed, although it will be upgradable to 2.3 at some point.
If this is the phone you’ve been waiting for, you can pick one up for £499.95 SIM-free or alternatively you can get the handset for free on a £35 month contract with O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone.
