Well you might remember back in May this year we told you about a couple of new HTC devices that were expected to be exclusive to the AT&T network in the US, and now a couple of months later we have been treated to a real picture of one of the yet to be officially announced smartphone.
Oddly, a prototype of the HTC Holiday appeared on Craigslist, which was soon purchased by one of the guys from XDA Developers. You’ll probably agree that the picture does resemble the render we showed you back in May (obviously with the exception of the big crack on the screen though).
According to the rumoured spec of the HTC Holiday back in May, it was certainly going to be a bit of a beast. The device was expected to have a 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 860 x 540, an 8MP camera on the back, 1.3MP on the front and running Android 2.3.4, which has been pretty much confirmed based on the latest pics. One thing that hasn’t been mentioned is the three gold contacts on the back of the handset, perhaps another way of charging the device?
With the Holiday expected to arrive on AT&T sometime in the near future (hopefully), we can also hope that it might make it’s way across the pond to European shores, maybe under a different pseudonym? I’ll guess we’ll have to wait and see.
