HTC’s first smartphone to feature superior Beats Audio, the HTC Vigor, has been caught on camera yet again, this time showing us its camera and rear case.
We first saw the Vigor appear briefly on a German phone retailer’s website, before it was hastily taken offline. The website revealed that the HTC Vigor would feature Beats Audio technology – the first HTC phone to do so since the Taiwanese manufacturer acquired Beats Audio earlier this month for $300 million.
The image you’ll see above comes courtesy of droid-life.com and shows us what the HTC Vigor is packing on the back – what looks to be an 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash. The camera lens itself has a nice red finish around it which looks very similar to the red that runs around the dual cameras on the HTC EVO 3D in the US.
If you look closely at the image above you might just notice a strange raised line running above the camera and down to the side. This reminds us quite a lot of the HTC Incredible S which has a similar raised ‘bump’ on the back of its case – could the HTC Vigor be joining the Incredible family, perhaps as the Incredible HD?
The specifications we saw on the German website the first time around would indicate a phone worthy of a ‘HD’ tag – the Vigor supposedly has a 4.3-inch screen with a whopping 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, plus an 8-megapixel camera and 1.5GHz Dual-Core processor.
We might just get to see the HTC Vigor make an appearance at HTC’s big event on September 1st, so keep your eyes peeled then for more information.
