Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners eager to get hands-on with the newly announced Android update – version 4.1 Jelly Bean – are being given a chance do so through a cracked edition available right now at RootzWiki.
This leaked version of the follow-up to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which launched on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus near the end of last year, will let gadget tinkerers get the exciting features announced at this week’s Google I/O Developer’s Conference, with the inclusion of an improved voice search and a new organisation tool called Google Now.
Exactly what the download will offer is unknown – that is until we hear of someone brave enough to actually do it! But we understand that this version is not the final full edition of Android 4.1, nor is it official. Only pro users with a rooted device who want a taste of Jelly Bean should give this a go, and Gadget Helpline warns our readers in advance that if you’re unsure what you’re doing please don’t try this – you could render your handset unusable!
