Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Final DLC Announced – Chaos Pack and Final Assault Pack to Launch

Activision has announced the final 2 parts of DLC that it will be issuing for the current Call Of Duty game, Modern Warfare 3, which will end a year of DLC drops and make way for the next instalment in the franchise – Black Ops 2.

Activision has announced two DLC packs for release entitled Chaos Pack and the Final Assault Pack, both of which will be released in the coming months for Xbox 360 Elite Premium customers, and then to general customers afterwards.

Released first on August 9th will be the Chaos Pack, which will feature a host of updates to the game including a brand new Special Ops Chaos Mode, three new Face Off map,s and four new Special Ops missions.

The Face Off maps includes Vortex, U-Turn, and Intersection (previously released for Elite subscribers on Xbox 360 in June and PlayStation 3 in July). The Special Ops missions include Vertigo, Arctic Recon, Light ‘Em Up, and Special Delivery.

Following that, on September 6th Activision will give out their final DLC and will wash their hands of  MW3 ready for the new Black Ops 2 beast. The Final Assault Pack comes with a whopping five new multiplayer maps including Boardwalk, Gulch, and Parish, as well as Decommission and Offshore, which hit the Xbox 360 in July.

So it’s a big old mass of new DLC to see the game out with a Bang before Activision switch over to Black Ops  2 DLC and will probably follow the same Call Of Duty Elite structure that they have followed with Modern Warfare 3.

The Chaos Pack is released next week on August the 9th to |Elite customers with non-premium customer getting it a week later for 1,200 Microsoft Points and then on September 6th the Final Assault Pack will be released in the same fashion also for 1,200 Msp.
