HTC One Mini leaks alongside HTC One – 4.3″ 720p miniature flagship revealed

It looks as though HTC will again follow Samsung’s suit and launch a ‘mini’ version of its latest Android flagship handset. Pictures depicting a HTC One Mini sitting alongside the HTC One have leaked online, giving substance to earlier rumours of a device known as the HTC M4.

Coming courtesy of Estonian gadget site Delfi.ee, a slew of images depict a phone that definitely copies the HTC One’s style and design, but is a little bit smaller. The phone is finished in black and still has the micro-drilled holes above and below the display – presumably for BoomSound – the Beats Audio logo on the back, chamfered edges and curved back – it’s almost a perfect miniature of the One.

The phone is marginally smaller primarily because the screen has changed from the One’s 4.7-inch Full HD display to a 4.3-inch 720p HD panel. The internal specifications are also changed, according to the site which leaked the pictures, with claims of a dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM, plus a 4 megapixel UltraPixel camera on the back.

We’re told that the phone will launch in August and will be priced at around €400 SIM-Free, but we’re going to reserve judgement on that for the time being. That being said, this is the first legit-looking peek we’ve had at the rumoured HTC One Mini, and it looks great. What do you think?

Now all we need is the HTC ‘G2’ to appear and the rumoured trio of phones from earlier this year will all be real!

  1. The strength of the Desire Eye isn’t in its 13MP cameras but its unibody design and flagship-baiting specifications. The excellent screen and front-facing speakers mean this handset punches above its weight.
