Call of Duty: Ghosts introduces ‘Halloween’ slasher as Playable Character

  • by

Activision has announced its next wave of downloadable content for Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox consoles and it’s spooktacular news for fans of both the shoot ‘em up franchise and horror movies as Michael Myers of the classic Halloween is becoming a playable character!

First teased on Instagram, a video played the haunting theme composed by John Carpenter from the 1978 slasher-genre defining Halloween – the film Carpenter also famously directed. A follow-up video has now been revealed in full, offering the shocking truth – that Michael Myers, aka ‘The Shape’, the veteran serial killer of nine movies, will be stalking his way into a new COD: Ghosts DLC map called ‘Fog’.

Myers will be available to use with a selection of horrifying and torturous weapons and the Fog map is to be released on January 28th as part of the Onslaught DLC pack – the first of four scheduled downloadables from Infinity Ward and Activision for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
