Many users are still only just getting over the changes Microsoft has bought on its Windows 8 users with the Windows 8.1 Update, but a new leaked document suggest that MS fans will soon be looking at another update in 2015 with a leaked date for the Windows 9 operating system.
Thanks to a leaked document, it’s looking like Windows 9 and Windows Phone 9 will be released in preview format between the first and second quarter of next year. The leaked Microsoft document hinting that its next-generation operating systems will launch sometime between April and September 2015.
It’s clear that MS have been looking forward with its operating system and have moved away from its 4-5 year operating system updates like XP to Vista, and the next step up for Microsoft will be Windows 9.
The OS is rumoured to see MS ditch the much lamented tile-based interface that was introduced with Windows 8 and go for a cleaner feel.
What’s more rumours are that the company will also be scrapping the Windows RT mobile / tablet operating system in favour for the Windows Phone software, or just a touch friendly version of Windows 9.
