Android-based HTC Pyramid images and specs leaked

  • by

Boy, HTC are going to really hate chinese site XDA.cn by the end of the week if they keep leaking their unannounced handsets at this rate. They’ve now leaked another new HTC handset, this time on the Android platform – the HTC Pyramid.

The site has leaked supposed images and specs for the Android handset, and if the specifications are correct it could be HTC’s new flagship Android handset.

A leaked specifications document indicates that the Pyramid will feature a 1.2GHz processor (unknown if it will be dual-core), 4.3-inch Super LCD screen with a 540×960 res, 768MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and both front and rear cameras.

Interestingly, the Android version listed is Honeycomb (3.0), a version of Android which was supposedly designed for tablets. Will the Pyramid be able to run Honeycomb with the specifications listed above? We’re staying cautious on this one, despite the images looking very polished and realistic, the specs may not be so kosher.
