Yet another new photo of Sony’s XPERIA J handset that was originally leaked a few days ago has been released online by Chinese tech site ePrice ahead of its suspected release at next week’s IFA tech trade event in Germany.
Previously Mobile Review leaked a host of photos with the handsets but the latest one from ePrice looks like a press shot of the final phone.
The Sony Xperia J is a budget handset with a single-core 1GHz Snapdragon MSM7227a processor, 512MB of RAM, a 4-inch display with a 854 x 480 resolution, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera.
Next week, at the IFA tech trade event in Germany, it looks like Sony will be launching a new Budget Android XPERIA smartphone in the form of the Sony XPERIA J handset that has been leaked online today.
A leaked image gas appeared on Russian site Mobile-Review and has shown a leaked image of the new Sony budget mobile, the Sony ST26i, otherwise known as the XPERIA J.
The handset is rumoured to have some modest features such as a and a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7227a processor, 5MP camera which is capable of capturing video at 640×480-pixels plus a LED flash.
The handset has a large 4-inch screen and will be running Sony’s current Ice Cream Sandwich Android software version and will be set to compete against other budget phones such as the HTC One V, Samsung galaxy Ace 2 and cheaper network alternatives.
Sony is expected to announce the Xperia J at the IFA event in Germany next week and we would expect the budget smartphone to hit the global market soon afterwards.
