Apple iTunes 11.0.3 update brings Mini Player and improved songs view

Apple has released another minor update to its iTunes software that will bring a new improved Mini Player and an improved songs view, plus multi-disc albums

The Mini Player will see an improvement to the view where you will now be able to see the album artwork of the music you are listening to, which Apple says offers you a “beautiful view that showcases your album artwork”.

The Mini Player was introduced in the iTunes 11 update and this will be the first edit that Apple has made to the miniature player.

The info has come via 9to5mac who have the information along with some images of the new Mini Player. The update also brings a few changes to the way you can view music as the 11.0.3 update includes the ability to view multi-disc albums as a single album.

Finally, the update has brought along a load of security and minor tweaks to the system that you get with any update to iTunes software.

The update should be available on Mac OS X v10.6.8 or later, or Windows 7, Vista, XP SP2 or later from now onwards. To get the update on Mac, hit the Apple in the top left corner and go into Software Updates. To get it on Windows, hit Help at the top of iTunes and click Check for Updates.
