Apple has addressed the European Union’s decision to make Micro USB the standard for all smartphone charging, by making a Micro USB adapter available for it’s iPhone in the UK and Europe.
Yesterday Apple launched it’s much-anticipated new iPhone yesterday, which turned out to be the iPhone 4S.
Expecting sales to soar as every one of it’s preceding models has demonstrated, the exciting launch revealed that the company’s USB method of charging is once again a feature. Now there’s no need to worry over the smaller fitting as this little gadget will boost the port up to a ‘full’ Apple USB with 30 pin connector as used for charging and syncing with PCs and Laptops.
The Micro USB adapter can be found on the Apple UK store online, meets those EU requirements and costs only £8. Compatibility for Apple’s iPhones ranges from 3G up to the new 4S version.
