Asda Selling Remaining Nintendo Game Stock at Bargain Price

Hot UK Deals is reporting massive bargains on Nintendo Wii U and 3DS games at UK supermarket chain Asda including some titles starting at just £10.

The sudden price drop on games for these platforms follows Asda’s decision to stop selling Nintendo consoles. With sales of games also reportedly ending within the next two months stores across the nation are said to be shifting their remaining supplies at considerably discounted cost.

According to users of the HUKD forums stock seems to vary from store to store based on what’s left in their inventory so we can’t guarantee what titles will be up for grabs if you were to visit your local branch today (if any are left at all) but deals spotted by Asda customers include Mario Kart 8 for Wii U at £20 as well as Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Luigi’s Mansion 2 both at £10 each.

These bargains on Ninty wares are only available in store and the Asda Direct website no longer lists any Wii U products and only a handful of games for 3DS are listed.

The decision to stop selling Nintendo comes without explanation from the supermarket and is particularly confusing considering Nintendo’s popularity is currently on the upswing, largely in thanks to its Amiibo range which has proved a real money spinner for the once struggling games maker.
