Blackberry Curve Touch 9380 Shows Up On Video

It would seem that Research in Motion have yet more Blackberry handsets up their sleeves, after another new full-touchscreen smartphone has appeared online as the star of a YouTube video.

The Blackberry Curve Touch 9380 has made an appearance online before when we caught a glimpse of it way back in January coupled with some supposed specifications, but now the handset gets a good 3 minutes and 23 seconds showing off in the video at the bottom of this page.

The 9380 looks quite similar to the recently announced full-touch Torch 9850, with the same chrome bezel running around the edge of the device and across the top and bottom at the back. The battery cover is a nice glossy black which is mostly likely plastic, as opposed to the Torch 9850 which has a brushed metal battery cover. We also see the 5-megapixel camera and LED flash situated on the back, set apart from each other.

Through the video demonstration we see confirmation that this smartphone will carry NFC (Near Field Communication) tech, for wireless payment systems and such. The operating system used is OS 7, the latest software which is also used on the Torch 9850, Torch 2 and Bold 9900.

We expect the 9380 to have an 800MHz processor with 512MB RAM, 1GB flash storage and a 3.25-inch full touch display with a resolution of 480 x 360.
