BlackBerrys other smartphone, the BlackBerry Q10 finally has a release date and some pricing information thanks to our friends over at Unlocked-Mobiles.co.uk who have announced that they will be stocking the QWERTY keyboarded smartphone from April the 26th 2013 and that pre-orders are currently available.
The Q10 is the second BlackBerry handset to be released with the BB 10 operating system and this time it returns to the form factor that made the original RIM devices popular in the first place, the QWERTY keyboard design.
We at the Gadget Helpline have been able to get our hands on a pre-production handset before its release and we can tell you that it’s pretty nice and following on from the excellent build quality of the BlackBerry Z10 the Q10 is a stylish and sturdy smartphone.
Since the middle of 2012 we have known that BlackBerry had 2 smartphones incoming with its newest (and possible savior BlackBerry 10 OS one of which was a new look touchscreen smartphone, we now know as the Z10, and a Keyboard sporting smartphone which is the Q10.
The handset looks a lot like the last generation of the RIM BlackBerry Bold smartphones but this time around it features the BlackBerry 10 OS plus a glass weave construction found on the back of the handset which makes the Q10 pretty tough.
