BT Vision – the internet portal television service – today welcomes BBC iPlayer into its family of on demand broadcasters. Joining a large number of telly service providers the likes of Virgin Media and FreeView, as well as a series of mobile platforms such as Android and iOS.

Up until now BT offered only the “basic” TV Replay service with the usual 7-days playback of popular programming, but from now it will also introduce the full iPlayer experience, bringing with it 400 hours of TV and over 1000 hours of radio on-demand from the world’s largest broadcasting company. Watch last night’s Eastenders, or go further back and catch up with a whole series of Psychoville – the potential with iPlayer is an unrivalled television platform.

The Beeb’s iPlayer will be added to the existing BT range of services available through the Vision+ set top box and broadband connection, which already hosts ITV Net Player, 4oD and Five’s digital services – With all four onboard this closes the terrestrial telly circle (or square.. depending on how you look at things!)
