So COD fans will be getting a little pre-Christmas surprise present soon, as of tomorrow(Friday the 16th of December),according to Infinity Ward’s head of community Robert Bowling, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be getting a host of new game modes.
Now not much has actually been said as to what game modes will be coming in the update, but Activision and Infinity Ward’s COD: MW3 is now nearly 2 months old and it’s about time the game got shook up a little.
The news was tweeted to the world earlier today by Bowling, who stated:
“Ready for new game modes for Modern Warfare 3? I’ve got some surprises for you for the weekend. I’ll confirm full details tomorrow!”
This is the first time that Activision and Infinity Ward have offered any major changes to the Modern Warfare 3 gameplay and it seems to be a slight update which may be focused on the Online Multiplayer and possibly the Spec Ops missions.
What we do know is that the update is not a map pack, as Activision are notoriously savvy at promoting and leading towards map pack releases as well as pretty much always making the DLC chargeable (normally around £10).
We can also expect that when the update comes out Infinity Ward will also add another double XP weekend for playing the game to promote the new modes.
All we know is that tomorrow we will be salivating for the new Modern Warfare 3 update. Whoop Whoop.
