This Saturday (20th August) Capcom will be bringing its highly anticipated crossover fighting title Streetfighter X Tekken to the KO Gym in Bethnal Green, East London for a very special night of challenges and training in the event called “Fight Club”.
In the first event of a series, gamers can get to grips with games the new game, not due for release until April 2012, uniting classic characters from both Street Fighter and Tekken franchises in never-before-seen one-on-one and multiplayer match-ups. And what better setting to do battle than within the walls of a genuine Muay Thai training centre!
In addition to the new game, there’s a chance to catch up with a back catalogue of playable titles from both fighting sagas’ lengthy legacies and meet legendary Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono, who will be on hand to sign copies of games and memorabilia through the evening.
Featherweight contenders and casual gamers should not be put off joining in the fighting fun, as Capcom are appealing to gamers new and old to get involved on the special night, and they will have masters of the games available for tips and training.
Capcom’s Fight Club UK kicks off at 7:00pm on Saturday, August 20th at the KO Gym, Bethnal Green, East London. More details can be found on the Facebook Event Page.
