UK network EE and its high street stores will be employing a free-to-use scheme to ensure its loyal customers are never caught short of charge on their mobile devices.
This is especially helpful if you’re on the move or unable to find an outlet and the battery in the Power Bar offers a full 2,600mAh capacity allowing for 500 charges and features an LED indicator to let users know when it’s drained.
What’s more helpful is that for existing EE customers with a 30 day, 12, 18 or 24 month plan with EE will be able to get a Power Bar at no cost and can make unlimited visits to EE stores at any time to get it swapped out for another which will be pre-charged to full capacity. Thus allowing continued enjoyment of those 4G data speeds that the company championed when it arrived in the UK.
Pay As You Go customers can also benefit from the scheme called EE Power which includes the Power Bar and free unlimited replacements as long as they have been subscribing for at least three months consecutively. Non-EE customers can get in on the action by paying a £20 one off fee for the first Power Bar which can then be replenished in store without any further cost.
To claim the EE Power Bar mobile customers will need to text the word POWER to 365. Once they receive a redemption code this must be presented in store to collect the fully loaded battery backup!
