Facebook Flavoured Ice Cream Being Sold in Croatia

Ever wondered what Facebook would taste like if it were an ice cream flavour? No, we haven’t either. But a Croatian ice cream vendor is finding its customers are giving a big thumbs-up to its new social-themed sweet treat!

Inspired by a teenage relation’s addiction to the Facebook social network, Admir Adil of the Valentino Ice Cream Shop on Murter Island, Tisno came up with the idea and has been selling his sweet social sensation for one euro per scoop.

And just like the social site, the ice cream is proving rather popular with regular customers and passers-by who a re being drawn into the store on seeing the familiar Facebook ‘F’ logo (used without consent of Mark Zuckerberg’s empire, we must add) and the dairy delight itself comes in trademark blue and white, just like the website and app used the world over by more than one billion account holders on a multitude of delicious devices.

So what does Facebook taste like? No, not shame as one might expect.

Apparently a bit minty, like chewing gum.
