Google Chrome 11 goes beta

Google has just announced the latest beta version of its popular Chrome browser, version 11.0.696.16 to be precise.

The new beta version will be available for all users to test on all major platforms (PC, Mac and also Linux).

So what improvements does version 11 feature? Well, the most notable feature of this new version is Google voice search which is powered by HTML 5, this API will allow developers to create a web app that has the ability to transcribe your voice to text. Version 11 also features GPU-acceleration 3D CSS allowing developers to apply neat 3D effects to a webpage, and last but not least, version 11 will also see a brand new Chrome icon (the one above).
