Google Play Store Updates for All Android Gadgets (Not Just Android 4.1 Jelly Bean)

With the recent ROM leaks of newly announced Android version 4.1 Jelly Bean, Google were quick to get its one stop application and entertainment shop up to scratch to support the incoming wave of sweet new software downloads.

This came in the form of an update to the Google Play store just a few days ago which was strictly limited to Jelly Bean-packing gadgets, which are very few if any at the moment until the update rolls out officially this month on gadgets like the Nexus S smartphone and comes preloaded on delicious devices such as the Google Nexus 7 tablet and Samsung Galaxy Note II. A number of experienced Android tinkerers have been able to get an unfinished version of Jelly Bean through unofficial channels and the Gadget Helpline pointed you in the right direction in a recent article.

Today Google has now kindly offered up the fix to other Android devices including those currently enjoying version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and back further with 2.3 Gingerbread and beyond.

Version 3.7.13 of Google Play is now available with a few graphical tweaks to its user interface design and introduces the recently announced additions to Play’s entertainment range including the potential for Android fans to buy movies and to enjoy magazines as a subscription or as single issue purchases.
