So then, by the end of the month we should start to see the much talked about Gingerbread update being rolled out to all patiently waiting Desire users.
HTC announced this officially via their Facebook page and said that testing of the Gingerbread update has gone well.
You may remember that back when HTC announced their intentions of issuing the Desire with the 2.3 update, they had to sacrifice some elements of the Sense UI interface and loose a few apps in order to make things work.
When making the announcement, HTC did not give an exact dates as to when the update will start to roll out, although there is only a few more weeks left in July so users won’t have to wait too long before you can start to experience the delights of Gingerbread.
