After recently slipping Apple’s net at U.S customs and going on sale through mobile retailer Sprint on May the 24th HTC’s impressive EVO 4G LTE has surfaced again – this time with a cool white finish.
Due to our current data network limitations here in Blighty (we’re still truddling along on 3G speeds) we won’t be seeing this one for a while but as a reminder to what our friend in the States are currently enjoying – the HTC EVO 4G LTE features respectable specs including a sharp 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm CPU for handling those speedy downloads and slick new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a generous 4.7″ touchscreen with 720×1280 pixel resolution to display them. The smartphone also packs an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus with LED flash that also captures 1080p videos. Jealous?
The HTC EVO 4G LTE comes in standard black as released a couple weeks ago, and now it seems in a new white edition has been quietly announced on a banner appearing on the Sprint website suggesting the device will be of limited availability for new contractees jumping over to the U.S mobile network.
Sounds pretty sweet – so if anyone wants to hook us Brits up with that super-fast 4G network stuff soonish that would be great.
