After weeks or rumours and leaks HTC have dropped the new HTC One Mina Android running smartphone on us today as the Taiwanese company starts to expand on its current flagship HTC One handset into a full range.
First things first, the HTC One Mini isn’t that Mini, it’s sports a good sized 4.3inch HD screen and is an Android Jelly Bean powered device that a year ago would have been a top of the line handset.
As rumoured the HTC one will come with a 4.3-inch 720p HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and will run off a 1.4GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. There’s also 16GB of storage internally and unfortunately HTC have decided not to expand on their memory with a microSD card expansion port.
The handset will be 4G enabled and coming with some super-fast connectivity tech including Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and HTC Connect along with the standard 3.5mm headphone jack, sadly though the One Mini has left behind the NFC technology.
One of the big sells for the device (apart from its discounted price) is that it s made from the same premium aluminium that the HTC One is made from and carry’s a similar design to its bigger r brother. One of the big selling points of the HTC One was its design and Aluminium all in one case.
The Android 4.2.2 OS inside will be accompanied by the latest HTC Sense UI as well as the new BlinkFeed interface both of which bring out some amazing features in the Android OS.
As for the rest of the HTC One Mini you get a 4.1-megapixel UltraPixel camera, a 1800mAh battery all sized up in a 132 x 63.2 x 9.25mm shell that and weighs 122g.
The handset will be available in Glacial White and Stealth Black from August onwards, and no pricing has been confirmed yet.
Now we are going to wait for the HTC One Max to be announced!
