O2 customers owning a HTC Sensation will begin to receive their updates to Android 2.3.4 from today, after a bit of a wait – it’s finally coming.
HTC Sensation owners on the UK network can hop onto their WiFi connection and grab the 41MB file right now and the new operating software upgrade will come with improved stability and the general bug fixes to make your Android life run more smoothly. The latest tweak also brings Google Talk support bringing the HTC Sensation up to speed with its fellow dual-core buddies.
Vodafone gave their customers a fix in August along with T-Mobile, but the HTC crowd on O2 were left with previous edition of Gingerbread with the once sensational Sensation omitted from the roll-out. It’s not been the best of times for the once proud mobile which was once the flagship of the HTC range, now its days are numbered following the announcement of special edition sibling Sensation XE – which comes along featuring Beats by Dre audio technology.
