Pictures have leaked online of a future HTC smartphone that we’ve seen briefly before – the HTC Vigor.
We’ve seen the Vigor make a very quick appearance on a German phone retailer’s website and also show its curvy back cover on camera previously.
This time, front and back pictures of the Vigor have surfaced as well as confirmation on the same hardware specifications we saw advertised with the phone on the German website.
The pictures above confirm that the HTC Vigor will be launching on the U.S network Verizon and will feature super fast 4G LTE mobile internet connectivity.
The Vigor’s rear casing bears a striking resemblance to that of the HTC Incredible S, while the red outline around the rear camera is the same as the HTC Sensation XE. On the front side we see that gorgeous 4.3-inch screen which is capable of displaying 720p HD quality.
When we reported on the Vigor before, we mentioned that the screen resolution was of HD quality, and the image of the phone’s Hardware Information page below confirms that. Under the Display category we can clearly see this phone has a 4.3-inch screen with a 720p HD display, which should make it awesome for games, movies and High-Resolution photographs.
The Hardware Information page also confirms that the Vigor packs a very fast 1.5GHz Dual-Core processor, 8-Megapixel rear camera, 2-Megapixel front camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 1GB of RAM.
We’re still not sure when the HTC Vigor will be announced officially by the Taiwanese company. Initially we expected it to get official at HTC’s press event in London on October 6th, but with Verizon branding on show, the Vigor may be a U.S only handset. We’ll bring you the latest as we get it.
