Over the past few months numerous images and specifications of the follow-up device have been revealed and yesterday Samsung made all of the rumours real. The Samsung Galaxy Ace is a beast of a phone with a larger 5.5inch display, 1.6Ghz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a HD Super AMOLED 1280 x 720 16:9 display.

The updated Note 2 will also come with a new S-Pen which is being thicker, longer and more ergonomic to hold.

The note comes with some great hardware too as the smartphone will sport an 8-megapixel back camera with an LED flash plus a decent 1.9-megapixel cam on the front for video calls.
