Instagram for BlackBerry 10 isn’t too far off, but if you’ve a retro filter itch that needs scratching right away, a preview version of the app has leaked online.
The app is version 3.4.4 and of course isn’t the finished product, so bugs and glitches will no doubt come as part and parcel. However, you’ll be able to snap photos, apply ‘hip’ filters and share your snaps socially through the network as well as linking up with Facebook and Twitter, just as you can do on Android and iOS.
So far it has been noted that account login, stream viewing and photo uploads work fine in the app, so it looks to be a fairly stable release.

If you’re feeling adventurous then the .BAR installation file is readily available online from a number of sources. All you need to do is download the file and sideload it by connecting to your PC and then run the file using the file explorer on your phone.
At the moment there’s no official word on when the Facebook-owned Instagram will be officially coming to BlackBerry 10, but given the recent leak we can’t see it being too much further away.
