Intel is going to join the tablet world with a bang, promising at least a whopping 10 different tablet devices. These will include devices running Android, MeeGo and Windows operating systems.
With all the processing power Intel has at its disposal they have not even skimmed the surface of the tablet world, but they seem to want to make a lasting impression.
Navin Shenoy, Intel general manager for Asia Pacific, elaborated saying “more than 35” tablets equipped with Intel chipsets are on track to ship this year.
MeeGo is also an interesting option as we are yet to see a device running a finalised version of the software. However once finished the Meego operating system should be a monster in terms of what you will be able to do on the development side of things, due to it being a true open source Linux distro.
It seems once again that there is yet to be more twists and turns in the world of tablet devices, with many manufacturers fighting for the pole position with the best device. Who will come out on top??
