iPad 2 now on sale in 12 more countries

Amidst the iPhone and iPad location tracking hubbub, Apple has snuck out a press release confirming that the iPad 2 will be coming to 12 more countries worldwide in the coming weeks.

The Wi-Fi only models will be available in Japan today (April 28th), then in Hong Kong, Israel, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and UAE on April 29th. Last but not least is China who will get their share of the iPad 2 on May 7th.

Prices for each country haven’t been announced as of yet, but Apple confirm they will match the US pricings for each variant of the super slim tablet – Wi-Fi only models are $499 for the 16GB, $599 for the 32GB and $699 for the 64GB. Wi-Fi and 3G models are $629 for the 16GB, $729 for the 32GB model and $829 for the 64GB.
