After teasing us with some leaks, Chinese tech manufacturer Meizu has finally unveiled its latest flagship Android device – the MX.
The new MX is due to land in mainland China on the 1st of January next year, and expected to make its way to other countries later on in 2012.
The MX has an impressive spec list, which includes a 4-inch 960 x 640 ASV display, 1.4 GHz Samsung Exynos 4210 dual-core chip, along with 1GB of LPDDR2 RAM and 16GB of internal storage (with a 32GB version being launched at a later date). There is also a 0.3MP front facing camera, along with an 8MP camera on the back allowing you to capture HD video at 1080p/30fps. The MX also has a secondary mic which is used for noise cancellation, and will also be powered by a 1,600mAh battery as well.
Looking at the software; it will feature a heavily customised version of Android 2.3.5 which has been dubbed Flyme OS, however CEO Jack Wong has promised that the MX will also eventually get ICS at some point in the future as well.
The Meizu MX is expected to go on sale for ¥2,999 (around £300).
