If you’ve always wanted to get yourself a projector, but just don’t have enough room to project onto a massive screen, well NEC may have exactly what you need to resolve the problem.
The two new models announced are pretty much the same, with the only main difference between the two being the screen resolution.
Both projectors are able to throw a viewable image from as close as 1.8 feet from the lens to screen, in addition both models feature 3000 lumens of brightness and have a lamp life of 5000 hours.
Should you want to use the projectors for presentation purposes, you’ll be pleased to know that both models also come with 10w integrated speakers as well as a USB viewer which will allow you to show images and other content without the need of a computer. The connectivity method is by either of the two PC inputs or by using the HDMI port.
The M300XS has XGA resolution and will sell for $999 (around £620) and the M300WS has WXGA resolution and thefore is a tad more expensive at $1099 (around £680). If you want to get your hands on one, both units start shipping this month.
