Gobby Mancunian, Noel Gallagher has once again slammed popular tech saying – via his distinct vocabulary – that iPhones aren’t very good and owners of the Apple gadget aren’t very good either!
After slamming video games and ‘brutal’ entertainment in a four-letter-worded tirade suggesting they caused the London riots several months ago, the ex-Oasis man was out at the Q Awards with latest project, High Flying Birds, when the rant was recorded and Gallagher stated “I just want a basic 1994 Nokia mobile. I can keep it in my back pocket and just do the basics with it – phone and text.” – He’d be pleased with Nokia’s current nostalgia trip over on Facebook we’d think but unpleased with the gimmickry of the iPhone 4 generation, he continues by asking why he would need a camera on his mobile phone.
His parting remark makes no attempt to make friends out of the Apple faithful by claiming that “iPhones are for Cockneys and ****s. And they are far too big.” – Yes, that censored part was another C word (as if you were wondering!)
We wonder where Gallagher will pop up next and which company be the next victim of his angst against tech trends – we just hope Apple wasn’t sponsoring this event!
