When the Nokia Lumia 800 landed at Gadget Helpline headquarters, we couldn’t hide our excitement. Nokia’s partnership with Microsoft and Windows Phone was almost a year in, and the result of both companies’ hard work was sitting on our desk.

The Lumia 800 features a simple yet head-turning design, thanks to a body crafted from a single piece of coloured polycarbonate. The body is offset by three swish looking chrome buttons on the right side, with nice rounded edges to make the phone a pleasure to hold, even on long phone calls.

It runs the latest Windows Phone software; version 7.5, also known as Mango. Nokia has also developed some great software including Nokia Maps and Nokia Music which are preloaded on every Lumia handset.

We’ve done an extensive video review of the phone for you to check out, in which you’ll get to see that gorgeous design, the fantastic 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, Windows Phone 7.5 and its tile interface in action, plus Nokia’s added software and much more.

As always we appreciate your input and we love to read through the comments you add. If you like something, let us know. If you feel we missed something in our review, again let us know. We’re striving to put together some great video reviews for you guys, and we want them to be helpful as well as enjoyable.
