If you happen to have both a compatible Onkyo AV system along with an Android device, you may be pleased to know that the popular electronics company have released a new remote control streaming app.
The new app works by connecting to your existing Wi-Fi network and allows you to easily stream music that you have stored on your Android device straight to your Onkyo audio system.
The new app will also allow you to view your networked stored music collection and play tracks , you’ll also be able to navigate through various menus on the AV system and control system functions, all from the comfort of your sofa.
The new Onkyo Android app will be available as a free download from the marketplace and will be compatible with all current AV receivers released in 2011, along with the TX-8050 stereo network receiver.
