A cheeky little red version of HTC’s gorgeous One handset has made a surprise appearance (albeit briefly) online, showing us once again that HTC has clearly lined up three colour variants of its latest flagship Android phone.
The handset is already available in black and silver options but it appears that a stylish red version of the smartphone will be coming our way in the coming weeks.
Mobile phone retailer Handtec has the handset listed in red for £419.99 SIM-free but at the time of the listing the handset was down as being “out of stock” then was very quickly removed from the website.
There were no additional release date details for the red variant and all of the specifications are the same as the black and white models that are currently available to buy. Sadly no-one was able to screen capture the slip-up so we also cannot see the new colour until the phone leaks again or when HTC decides to announce the phone.
The HTC One is a beauty of a handset already and with its top notch specifications that include a a 4.7-inch full HD display, 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and fancy UltraPixel camera, it’s helping HTC return to its former glory of most prestigious Android handset manufacturer (sorry Samsung!)
The red version of the phone first appeared on HTC’s own site shortly after the launch of the One earlier this year, but was also quickly pulled after questions were asked.
There is also no word on whether the red version of the handset will be associated with the (RED) charity that has previously been used for promotion of the charity’s cause.
