Wowzers, mobile network Three are having a big day of announcements today and following its Chromebook and HTC Flyer announcements from earlier today, they’ve followed up with announcing it will be stocking Nokia’s latest top-end Symbian smartphone the X7.
The Nokia X7 will be hitting Three at the end of June and will be one of Nokia’s final attempts at getting the Symbian OS out to the world before dropping it for either the MeeGo OS or the Windows Phone 7.
The Nokia X7 will come equipped with the latest Symbian OS dubbed Symbian “Anna” and will feature a 4inch AMOLED Clearblack touchscreen with Gorilla Glass protection, 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and zoom and 720p HD video recording.
Internally the handset will run off a 680MHz CPU and will have 256MB RAM / 1GB ROM with an 8GB memory card for additional expansion included in the box. Nokia have preloaded Nokia Ovi Maps and both Galaxy on Fire and Asphalt 5 HD games.
Three have placed the handset up for pre-order on its page but has yet to announce any pricing information, but we would think it will be available on a £35+ per month contract free of charge.
